GSP shipping to NZ

Hi all! 

I have ordered an item from the US being shipped to AKL, NZ. It is showing as ‘handover to airline’ at o’hare airport/Chicago for a week now. Is this standard? I understand there must be delays with the pandemic etc but it seems quite long. I contacted NZpost the carrier in NZ but they can only track it once it’s entered NZ. I just want to be sure it’s not lost in transit or soemthing!

Chicago is where a rather large customs house is.  It would not surprise me if your package simply hasn't been screened yet.  

You should have a latest estimated delivery date on what you purchased.  If it still hasn't moved 1 day past that date, make sure you notify eBay and get an INR opened.
