I recently sold an item with free shipping but didn’t realize I must have left the international shipping option unchecked . Sold it to someone that had an address in Kentucky that I now learn is the global shipping program location ( had not opted out of GSP )

i sent the item in an envelope and added the USPS tracking number. Package received in Kentucky and appears to be relabeled for export now.

Customer is confused about where his item is ... question I gave is who will pay for the delivery to Mexico? Ne ur buyer??

what happens if he won’t pay the charges???

He paid the shipping at the time of purchase

No worries. You are in good hands with Ebay Global shipping. The buyer pays the shipping as well as the customs dues. The payment buyer made does cover those costs. There are two tracking numbers. One is the USPS tracking number then another tracking number issued by the Global shipping this number will track once they do their magic with repacking and shipping to your customer. Give the buyer the global shipping tracking number and the buyer should be happy. The buyer has already paid for all those costs. Take care.

If you received the OK to mail it to the Global Shipping Center in Kentucky, then the buyer already paid the hefty fee to send it from the GSP in Kentucky all the way to their country. You never see the amount they automatically paid to use the Global Shipping Center. Once it arrives at the GSP in Kentucky, your actual liability for delivery of the package is over, but out of being a nice seller with good customer service skills, you can answer their question.

I believe they are asking you to check the status of the USPS and Global Shipping Number for them. Look it up for them and let them know what the status is.
