Forwarded Address

Sold some items about 25 days ago to a buyer who seems to have moved and did not change address . Item was out for delivery and now seems to have been forward to new address , but no update. My question is how does this work for seller protection as buyer failed to update their new address.

@no-plain-white-envelopes While being prepared is smart, don't put the cart before the horse. You'll most likely simply never hear back from the buyer, presuming it was delivered to new address. No reason to fear it yet. Just don't contact eBay unless you do hear something back from buyer. That's when you can react. Best of luck to you....

Oh I never ask the buyer if they got their item , I learned that years ago. Im just wondering how this will play out as to if I will have to refund or not. Its only $28 , but those add up.

No, I wasn't insinuating that you contact the buyer- of course not. I just meant that when the buyer receives the item most likely you will never hear back from them.  A seller needs that delivered stamp so maybe you'll get it when it gets delivered to the new address and than you'll have your answer.
