I can not find eBays written policy on their forced return shipping charges when buyer purchases the return label/ postage.
CS can not either and will not guarantee that the buyer can not select a return shipping of excessive value.
Seems difficult to search for.
Appreciate the help please - will someone would point me to the policy?

The buyer is sent a USPS return label by eBay, they don't get to 'choose' how they want to send the item back.
I can't use eBay return labels but from what I understand, USPS will bill eBay the amount due
based on size and weight and ebay in turn will bill you.
At one time if you purchased the original label through ebay, the return label was guaranteed not to cost more than the original one. I don't know if that is still in effect...perhaps someone else can confirm if it is.

In my experience, just click "approve" and "send label". After that it isn't your problem. When/if you get it back, click "refund".
pro tip: If it wasn't scanned delivered you didn't get it back.

Yes.
The label was just issued by eBay with payment taken from my registered account.
Not sure if it could have exceeded the amount I originally paid to ship.
Thank you.
