First Class USPS Shipping Option has Disappeared

Writing with concern over the shipping options for us sellers. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue right now, but I cannot ship anything via USPS First Class Mail. What's more, the option -- which had been selected for all of my current listings, regardless of category -- have been wiped out, leaving all of my currently for sale items not showing a shipping method.

I know the app has had troubles in the past, but I don't use the app -- I use PC for all such posts. What is going on?

happened to me too.  over 1000 posts are now left with no shipping. so upset

If you go to revise your shipping first class is going. Make your changes it saves to first class. When adding a new item first class is gone. What I have done is select I do not know the dimensions of my package and just add a cost. I explained what's going on in the description of my items, hopefully eBay fixes this

This is not cool at all I also have over 100 listing some that are 5$ how do u charge 7.70-9 for a 2 ounce item I can’t even sell some of my stuff I won’t make any money 

every single listing is coming out 7.70

this sucks seriously have to start all over I feel like.

Sadly, the option for USPS Retail Ground/Parcel Select is gone, too. I called customer service about this and was told that option was pulled by the USPS. Maybe they don't want eBay to discount it or maybe they'd rather people only use Priority, I don't know. The only ground transport you can use now is through UPS and FedEx.

I have this exact problem today, 01/08/2022. 

Is it eBay's new policy to silently remove the cheapest option for 3oz items? 

Is it a step to force sellers of small items out of the platform?

I just noticed the same thing too.  All of my listings now say USPS First Class but they're listed at a rate of $1.56 when they should be listed at $3.48.  What doesn't make any sense, however, is why they would pull it on listings that do not offer free shipping but for listings that do offer free shipping, the seller can select to use USPS First Class Package.

$1.56 is the postage cost for a 3-ounce First Class flat (AKA Large envelope). This will show up in your listing with calculated shipping if "Large envelope" is chosen in the drop-down menu for "Package type."
