Fedex tracking number not found

Hi,

I was wondering what I should do if the fedex tracking number I was given is showing as not found on the fedex page. The item is scheduled to be here between the 11-13th. I paid $800 u.s for this item and really do not want to be out that much money. I had read where this can be a scam sometimes and that ebay and fedex can really screw you in these situations. 

Any suggestions?

Try to track it using fed ex, not the ebay tracking. That is slow to update.

You won't see anything until Fed Ex scans it the first time.

Wondering what would "not found on the fedex page" mean?
