Fedex calculated charges accurate when purchasing?

I rarely check the Fedex tab when shipping, as I mostly do USPS Priority Mail.  However, this one item is going across country from NJ to CA.

I checked USPS and they wanted $18.  Not bad.

I look at FedEx 2-Day is $16, FedEx Ground is $17.   Looking at the 2-Day, Ebay says "I save 85%" Retail price $110, Ebay price $16.

Anyone have experience that this is correct?   Seems like a steep discount for Ebay.  I don't want Fedex to bill me at the end of the month for a different amount (I have the correct weight and dimensions on there).

I'm assuming your looking at the rates on eBay, correct? Don't trust them, go to the FedEx site and check the rates there before buying the label on eBay. Many posts here about getting stung for double charges when the shipment shows up on your invoice.
