i don't have a signature requirement on this delivery i called FedEx and they said the driver doesn't feel it is safe to leave package without a signature and the driver has decided that the buyer need sign door tag or sign for package.(they say they can't tell me why the driver feels this way)
The sale is $175 the buyer so happens to be a new to eBay, i think it must be the address, anyone else experienced this? I've had over 1000 deliveries with FedEx this is a first,i know they are on top of things don't experience much or any fraud and i know it's because they are on top of things don't think fraudsters prefer sellers that ship FedEx..but what is up with this? It's a first

I’ve heard of this happening when there is no safe place to leave it, like the doorstep is right by a sidewalk or it’s an apartment complex and the office was closed. Or the driver was just too lazy to deliver it. I have one of those.

I hate FedEx because they only deliver in our neighborhood M-F 9-5 when everybody is at work so there IS NOBODY home to sign. Havent used them in years.

FedEx delivers packages Monday-Saturday and some holidays on my street.
As a seller, I don't use FedEx. As a buyer, if you find a seller that uses Fedex Smart post, be prepared for a long wait.

Maybe a high crime area and they've had a lot of complaints about missing packages from that address.

My neighborhood is so not dodgy but our delivery folks just want a 9-5 so they have evenings and weekends off. Cant blame them but if hours are a factor they should consider a different job.
