Fed Ex Discount Not Being Passed on to Me as Seller: Home Delivery & Smart Post

I am so confused about Fed Ex charges on Ebay. How many of you offer Fed Ex Smart Post, Fed Ex Home Delivery, etc.? If you do are seeing a discount reflected when your buyer opts for Fed ex when you as the seller buy and print the label?

I always see a discount passed on to us as sellers when we use USPS.

However I am not receiving any Fed Ex discounts even though it notes I should be receiving some sort of discount.

In fact I usually pay a few pennies more than the buyer.

I have called Ebay 2x in the past week to get some clarification... no progress other than them sending it their technical team.

any thoughts?

thanks - hope this made sense

You are a top rated seller so you should receive the (small) FedEx discounts.  I shipped several items over the last couple of days and all showed a FedEx discount.

Post a couple screen shots of your next two or three shipments along with package size, weight and zipcodes and we can try to help.

Be sure that you are entering the correct size and weight of the items in the shipping container you will use.  Under-estimating the package size will kill you with FedEx as their dimensional rates apply to any size box.

You ARE receiving the discount - they are just not showing it to you.

In the old shipping label page eBay would show the "list" price for the shipping, then the amount of the discount, then the net cost.

Now they just show the net cost. They now longer show the list and the discount. But it is there.

They are doing the same thing with USPS. Just the net, not the list/discount.

To conform that go to FedEx home page and request a quote.  That will confirm, you are paying the discounted price
