False return accepted

my account page shows I accepted a return when I didn't and am disputing the return request. What do I do now? I reported the buyer as I believe he is trying to replace some of the baseball cards with less quality cards. His request was not as described but he read the description, viewed the pictures and made an offer that I accepted . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are jumping the gun and about to get run over by the MBG.

First when a return request happens, accept the return and get the item back.  IF the return is a Not As Described (NAD) return then you MUST accept the return, pay for return shipping.  Try to fight that and you will miss the deadline eBay gave you to send a return label and THEN the buyer will ask eBay to step in.  Ebay will refund the buyer and the buyer will be allowed to keep the item.  This is a maximum loss scenario: you lose the  money and the item.  You get run over by the MBG!

So hurry up and issue the return label.  Once the item comes back THEN you can see if there was fraud.  Right now you are SPECULATING and that does no one any good.  Work off of the FACTS.  The fact is buyer filed a NAD and you are about to suffer a Maximum Loss.  So take action.

IF and when some thing comes back that is NOT what you sent, then come back here, with exact details and ASK before you do anything.  There are steps one can take to be made right when defrauded.  But right now you have no proof of that.  So don't get run over bu the MBG!  Please!!!

This platform offers a MBG to all buyers. Your own no returns policy is superseded by eBay’s return policy in the TOS. Unless this is a buyer’s remorse type of return you will have to refund. Once the buyer selects INAD you will have to pay for the return shipping or eBay will deduct it from your account, regardless of what you stated in your own listing. Your best bet is to accept the return and issue the return label or you will also receive a defect on your selling account. It happens; it's a part on selling online. Best of luck to you....
