Estimated delivery date on the feedback page doesn't match the date on the purchase page

I bought an item on June 17.  I was expecting to receive it by first-class mail between June 22 and 24 based on the estimated delivery date I was given.  The seller never provided a tracking number, so I asked her on the 23rd if she had ever shipped it. She said she shipped it the day before. She did not manually upload a tracking number to eBay, but she showed me a photo of her receipt from the post office that had the tracking number on it.

It's unlikely the package will arrive today like it's supposed to.   It will probably arrive late.  But what I don't understand is the accuracy of the estimated delivery date.  My PURCHASE HISTORY page still shows that this package was supposed to come between the 22nd and 24th, but when I click on the FEEDBACK page, it asks me if the item arrived by June 26th or not. Why don't the dates match?

Those dates are just a guess at best. Ebay should stop listing them as they just make buyers unhappy.  Those dates are also subject to change after the item is shipped or purchased.

The estimated delivery dates are just that, estimates.

Your item might take longer than usual to arrive. Hopefully, your item will arrive in the next few days.

I have an item I purchased on November 1st and the delivery date has changed twice so far from the original date. The seller sent proof of sending it....

I understand how you feel, yet I shouldn't have to pay 8 bucks in shipping and NOT get priority mail.

I'm extremely unhappy at this point.

Don't listen to folks that recommend you work with the seller and give them a good rating when they are doing a **bleep**ty job.
