Anyone else these past couple weeks noticing ebay just pulling money out of your account for claiming "short paid postage"?
I know the amounts are correct infact I always round up a few ounces to be sure and I have been selling & shipping the same items on ebay since 2013 and have never short charged postage fees so now this past week I have gotten two with $7 taken out of my account for no reason!
Is this ebay determining the postage ? Or another ebay "glitch" ?
If this keeps up I'm going to be **bleep** , I know my amounts and weight are correct , I spend nearly $100,000 in USPS postage a year !

No, it's not eBay: it's the USPSs own new "Autoated package verification system," which might occasionally make an error. Some posters have theorized that a package weight can be misread if two packages get stuck together.

I had the same problem where I was charge for a 7 pound package. It was one yard and it weighed 7 ounces.
I took the paypal receipt and filed a claim at the post office. We will see what happens.

The APV system has been in place for over a year, so 2 packages @ $7 out of shipping $100K is a pretty low error rate.

Hi - Today (Dec 10) got a USPS underpayment charge of $1 thru PayPal (for 4 oz First Class label I printed thru PayPal on Dec 1). I suspect USPS is trying to take away the commercial base pricing discount. I have the local PO acceptance receipt from USPS, and the USPS scale weight was 3.1 ounces. (I now have paid $2.66+$1.00=$3.66). I filed a dispute with USPS, and we shall see what happens ....

Your job is first to prove USPS made an error, and if you are then not reimbursed in a timely manner, if after submitting reminders with no result, then simply drop the matter.
Not worth the time and effort to litigate. IMO
