Today I bought a pair of shoes from a seller. Shipping was9.65. I went to checkout and payed only to find out I was charged 12.65 for shipping instead. I contacted the seller who was unaware that ebay had done that and never heard of it and told me she had no control over what ebay charges for shipping, I should contact ebay. I did. They claim that the shipping I saw was just an average, that I needed to click on the details to see what the actual shipping cost was. I told them I had never heard of that and have always paid what it said shipping was. That they should honor the price stated. they claim that they don't set the price, it's set by the shipper, usps, etc. We went round and round about this and of course, I got no where.
Buyer beware of Ebay's deceptive practices. Read everything like a lawyer because Ebay is a rip off company, they quote you one thing then charge you another. probably another way of milking extra money out of you. If things like this are happening to customers, I can imagine how they screw the sellers ! horrible company anymore. won't see much of my business anymore. They literally drive customers and sellers away.
