Just a heads up from my dealing with return requests as of late. According to the Ebay reps I have dealt with recently ebay offers no protection from customers requesting returns on items listed in this condition. A buyer can still claim the product doesn't work and get their money back and charge you the seller for their shipping back at any point. There is NO recourse as a seller and you will be out all shipping fees and be dinged by ebay.
Most recent example Iphone 6 sold as is for parts not working with description very clearly stating the phone is broken and doesn't power on or work. Customer admits they didn't read description thought they were buying a working phone and is filing a claim that product doesn't work. Ebay says this is completely valid claim and I have to accept the return and pay for their shipping back.
How on earth is this fair to a seller?

Been thier done that. Sold a lawnmower / garden tractor oil pan from an engine. Clearly listed as just the oil as the engine threw a rod.
Guy demanded after receving it I give him the engine block also. He said they needed to be matched. My butt I worked on small engines forever and never was an issue. A shop (I deal with often) of 40 years said that was crazy too. If it was the case then you need the orginal matching cranck shaft. So he blacked mailed for me feedback. eBay stated he could return it yet he never claimed it was broken. So got back feedback.
Also once sold a sunvisor for an old Chevy Caprice. Buyer wanted to return it for no reason. So they forced me to take it back. I got $15 ish 6 pack of California made lolly pops. Not what I sent out. Had to fight eBay to get a partical payment. Me a member since the easly 2000's.
