Ebay is forcing my priority package weights to 3lbs

I recently started having a problem with trying to change the package weight for calculated shipping cost on auctions using priority shipping. Ebay is defaulting the weight to 3lbs and I am not able to save changes to the weight. Any suggestions to get around this?

I have never come across this issue. It may be a glitch and you should report it. But do so after trying to do a little troubleshooting.

I have had luck whenever I encounter listing issues to close down the window (save your draft) restart my computer and then start again. I have one bank that plagues me from time to time with what I refer to as ghosts of transactions past. It seems like Windows 10 doesn't like to delete cookies completely.

I never use Calculated Shipping.

That option appears to often get it wrong.

Perhaps try to list through a different listing tool.  I know a lot of people have had difficulty with the quick listing tool in the past.

You don't sell on that account. I use it a lot. 50% of my packages.

If you are using the quick listing tool, its defaulted to having ebay choose shipping for you so that is probably the issue. If you use the regular form and use calculated shipping, you provide all of the information. The USPS calculator is actually 99.9% accurate and when its wrong, its due to seller error.
