I purchased 6 posters from one seller in the U.S. At the time, the ebay listings for 3 of them would not allow me to combine the purchases, I had to make the payment immediately to close the listings. I was not given the option of a combined invoice for 3 of the listings. Therefore, I paid separately for S&H on 4 different transactions. The seller assured me ebay would refund me for the overpaid shipping charges, which came to a total of $155.16 U.S. The seller stated the S&H charges only came to $25 to ship from the U.S. to Australia.
However, a supervisor with ebay I just spoke with over the phone stated the Global Shipping Program will not refund me for the shipping charges. So I basically paid over $200 AU for S&H charges through the GSP for 6 posters sent in one mailing tube that only cost $25 U.S. to ship. I'm absolutely disgusted and outraged by this, and I'm wondering if I should even bother using ebay anymore. BEWARE of ebay's Global Shipping Program as they will outright STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Seller should have refunded you.

Did you try putting all items in your cart? Doing that should have allowed you to pay for all items at the same time and the international shipping would have been automatically discounted. The global shipping rules state that items paid for separately can’t be combined so the seller should not have told you that you would be refunded by the gsp….that has never been possible.
I’m so sorry that it did work out like this. You might want to contact customer service through a message on eBay Facebook or Twitter. It’s possible that they will be willing to do a partial refund as a ‘courtesy’. It can’t hurt to try.

Just blatantly stealing money from people who've made a legitimate mistake. And Ebay has the NERVE to thank me on the phone for my loyalty for 20 years. Disgusting and outrageous business practise!

you could have asked your seller to make a lot

I don't think that your seller used GSP, for the following reasons:
1) it is impossible to combine shipping after buyer pays - to even discuss it is a waste of time
2) your seller wouldn't know or care about S&H to Australia - he only sends to the export center in Kentucky
3) your seller isn't able to send multiple items, if paid separately through GSP, into one shipment
