EasyShip returning almost every package for "problems encountered"

For the last month or two, Ebay's international shipping consolidator/partner has been returning almost everything I send to international customers. The only items we ship are used toys (HS Tariff 950300), and upon challenging merchant support, they indicate that ESUS said that the items were "prohibited". However, when I re-ship the items to the customer using an off-ebay label account, they all arrive quickly and with no customs issues. I can find nothing about a recent ban on import of toys simultaneously passed in Iceland, Hungary, India, United Kingdom, and France, among others. I do have a couple packages to Chile that have not been returned, but have instead disappeared completely after being delivered to the EasyShip US location.
Is anyone else having similar problems, or has EasyShip just lost the plot? Is there any way to contact Easyship directly and find out what the problem seems to be so it can be addressed and resolved, or is this all just going to remain hidden behind layers of obfuscation?

You are using eBay International Standard Delivery and yes, they will return packages they cannot forward. Toys specifically are problematic to the UK and elsewhere.

In many cases it's not necessarily that the item is banned, but there may be other regulations (like product safety markings) that make the item ineligible to forward.

This is something sellers need to monitor and if it becomes too much of a problem, stop offering direct shipping to those countries and instead use eBay International Shipping - a different program where eBay will either block sales when item is restricted, or they will let you keep the sale and liquidate the item if the product can't be forwarded and there was no problem on the seller's end.
