I currently have my shipping settings set to Flat Rate shipping for both Domestic and International shipping using USPS. I have quite a few countries blocked due to various reasons. I mostly do this because I offer combined shipping and when someone buys more than 1 item it usually requires a larger package and eBay's shipping calculator can't handle the difference in dimensions and constantly undercharges buyers.
If I enable EIS shipping will that override my current shipping preferences or just be added to my listings as an alternate shipping method to country's I currently ship to.
Also, if I enable EIS will that activate the country's I actually have blocked such as France, Germany, So. America etc, and show them just EIS shipping. I think I saw that in an update a while back.

If you opt in to eIS it will be presented as an option on your listings. Buyer can choose either eIS or your direct shipping options.
If buyer chooses eIS, you will receive shipping rates consistent with a domestic sale since you're shipping to the domestic hub. Buyer will pay added cost for international ship which eBay keeps since eIS handles the international portion.
Any region you have on your exclusions list is excluded when you ship direct. Whether or not that region is excluded from eIS depends on a setting on your shipping preferences page. If you want to remove those exclusions for eIS but not for direct shipping, activate the slider shown below @steady2304 .

Thank you very much. I definitely want to keep my exclusions for direct shipping just wanted to make sure there was a way to do that. Thank you....
