Duplicate Orders

I am highly peed off.  I made an order on June 5, 2024 for 2 items that were from different sellers.  I received my order today for one seller, but I received two of the same items.  I was surprised and went to check my order details and I find that the order on both items were duplicated, yet I approved only charges for two items.  After checking my bank balance I find that there are four charges taken out of my account for four separate items.

I have been with Ebay for 17 years and never have I had this to happen.  I finally was able to get in touch with the fraud department to check and see if any fraudulent activity had been integrated on my account and they said no.  This is giving me second thoughts now about doing business with Ebay.

They advised me to send one of the items back and when I receive the second order to return one of the items back  also.  But this seller don't take returned items.

No returns doesn't mean no returns.

You can do it.

But you might have to pay for return shipping.

Although you feel it wasn't your mistake...however...I am not perfect and I make mistakes.

It's a little confusing to understand what happened.

Two different sellers...instead of getting one item each from each seller...you got 2 items each from each seller. Could be a 2 was placed instead of a 1.

When you look at order details in each purchase history are there 1 or 2 items in each?

Sounds like buyer error. You can open returns for both duplicate items as ordered by mistake because it sounds like you ordered by mistake, understand this, if a seller has a no returns policy they can decline the return.

Ebay terms it as a glitch in the order.  I ordered two items - one from one seller and one from another seller.  Instead of one item being sent each seller sent two of the same item.  I was able to return one item to one of the sellers but the other one did not accept returns.
