I'm just wondering - if I feel I can't get my orders out today, so I print tomorrow's date on the shipping label, then I find out I can still get to the post office in time today, will it mess anything up with the post office having tomorrow's date on something I shipped today?
BTW I have 2 day shipping so I know waiting a day won't mess with my Seller Level Late Shipment Rate.
Thanks.

Just don't draw attention to it.
They can reject it though most times they don't look and this time of year my guess is they will want to scan and move, scan and move.
If I have those....and I always have those, I just pop them in a blue mailbox or parcel drop in the lobby....that way there's no chance of the clerk looking.

Ship it.

There should be no problem with acceptance today.

As long as you do not hand it to a clerk and make an issue out of it there shouild be no problem.
However, I have seen some comments on the boards about some clerks being sticklers. So drop it and go. Say nothing.

Agree, only if the clerk is a disgruntled federal worker and really looks at the date.
I have noticed since the latest EBay updates that I can only change the ship date if I am printing the label online. If I use my iPhone app it doesn’t give me the option, or it’s hidden and I haven’t found it yet.

Except my post office doesn't allow 9x7x1 airjacket envelopes in their mailboxes. They started that rule without any notice or warning in January this year, and caused me to get a bunch of late shipments on my Seller Level evaluation, so I lost my Top Rated standing for awhile after that. Made me mad. We have to put all packages on their blue counter/shelf. They really pile up before anyone scans and sends them to the backroom. I'm always nervous that someday someone will steal them off the shelf before they get scanned. So far hasn't happened.
So anyway, I'm out the door before they look at the packages.

If you are physically able to ship them that day, do so. Why wait til Monday? My local post office is closed on Saturday but people can drop off their packages before 5 p.m. pst.

I'd bet that isn't a rule but rather something your Post Master wants to be true and hopes no one will call them out on it.

I agree, I would call them out and then call the Regional supervisor if that didn’t work.
