Hoping y'all can help! I recently had someone order two of an item I had posted. Of course I planned for that one item to fit in a single, large Priority Mail box. Two of that item wouldn't fit in that same size box. eBay, however only gave me one shipping label. So it seems that eBay assumed both items would fit in the size box I had deemed for a single item. Is this always the case? If so, it seems the seller can easily lose money, because they were were planning for two shipping payments (to cover two boxes), not one. Can someone please help clarity for me? Many thanks!

There should be a link at the top to uncombine the items.
If not, if you go to your awaiting shipment page in seller hub, you should be able to click on each item and ship them separately.

Did you set up the shipping as USPS Flat Rate Box? If so, that is the problem. eBay charges what you put: "flat rate to all buyers". What you should have done is choose "standard shipping" instead of flat rate box and then on that line there is a small check box for what to charge additionally in case the buyer buys more than one. Essentially it would be "X" for the first item and "Y" for any additional items.

Nope. I've never used a flat rate box. I had the item listed as a USPS Priority package. And I couldn't figure out how to separate the items so I would get two shipping labels, instead of one.
