I bought an item from the U.S. to ship to Canada (not by GSP). I received an eBay Delivery Services tracking number. It tracked the item in the U.S. to when it left the JFKA airport, but then nothing. The item left by plane a few days ago and so it definitely is in Canada now (New York to Montreal). How do I track it now? It's not in Canada Post. I avoid GSP sellers, now I will avoid ones who use this method of shipping.

I didn't know anyone replied to this, didn't get the email till yesterday. I had to call ebay cust. service, they forwarded my question, and someone did get back to me pretty fast and gave me the USPS tracking #. Otherwise, the USPS number NEVER showed up in my purchased list for the item. Even after the package was delivered. Waste of time ebay, keep your useless delivery service tracking numbers to yourself.

Can you give the format of that tracking number? Is it an ESUS number? When the seller uses ebay shipping programs, the seller mails the package to a US distribution center using US postal service. At the distribution center a new international label is created (includes the customs declaration). With these services you should see door to door tracking. If you received the tracking number today, it may take a day before there are additional scans. The following are good sites for tracking international packages, they usually get more and faster info than others:

http://parcelsapp.com/en helped me to track package with tracking number provided by ebay as well as reveal the real tracking number that I could then use with Canada Post. Thanks!
