I think I'm ending my seller carrier. I call USPS all the time because the pack is lost or delayed and in absolutely different state it should be. I'm so tired of it. I call them and hear: wait, it's in transit. Call us in three days (when I should refund money to customer.)
I didn't sell many items - just some, and some quiete expensive. It's my fault - I should ship it by Priority Mail and I shipped by First Class, because it's super small.
I shipped something on Saturday. It's Wednesday and one is missing (still in transit to California, but the pack didn't even get distribution center so it can't be in transit) and second one is still in Chicago. It should be delivered yesterday.
For 30 items I sold, I called the USPS like 10 times. And I just hear that they can't do anything because they have 14 business days delivery. Of course, it super hard to call post to depart the item to the next facility.

i looked..yes i think whatever your packing those in...too small and label may be affected....
i use an 9 x 6 envelope..which is a bit bigger than the label... taped flat and not wrinkled (mostly)---but maybe if you are using smaller than that ...maybe they don;'t flow as well..through the system....
again just saying....and not really knowing,,,,

Believe me, it wasn't small item. It was a purse in an evelope. I got it today. From Virginia. I don't have a problem with USPS here - with my post office. Problems usually start in distirbution center. In distrubition center they shipped my purse to Virginia. The man from USPS told me that it's a human mistake and they appologize. That's fine. I didn't dispute my order because I got it later.
Now I'm waiting for another package from California (California doesn't like me too much). The seller shipped it with Priority Mail. It's out for delivery - it's evening and I didn't get anything. Maybe the postwoman left it on truck. I will guess tommorow - I hope I will get it tommorow. Just I really hope she didn't lose it. I see first time that something is out for delivery and not delivered 😞

My problem with the USPS is not so much shipping out , it is mis-handeled and lost mail/ packages to me. Right now I have a package that was generated here in Minnesota and has bounced around the Postal System for going on 5 days now here in Minesota. What can I do ? When I have complained I actually had a Postal person try to tell me it was my fault that I can't get my Mail? What is happening to the USPS. There was a time you could send something and you 90% of the time knew it would get there. Just Terrible. !

No. I don't call at all. Once I give it to them to ship, place my tracking number in for the buyer, and give it my blessing, it is no longer my responsibility. I wish the product well and kiss it good buy. The post office has repeatedly replied to my questions, "I'm not supposed to help you or tell you this, but....". Such bull**bleep**. How else do I learn but to ask THE Post office. So I've learned through trial and error but I never call them because I know they wouldn't help.

However, I frequently (1 out of 20ish) have incoming packages that get diverted from a normal route and go off on a walkabout and finally make it back. I have complained to the USPS using their online forms and typically get emails from the local postmaster appologizing. It seems they have issues with their sorting machines here. It is frustrating to see the tracking predict delivery and then see it go off to other locations and incur several more days of transit time. I will continue to complain in the hopes that the ywill fix the issue some day.
Since I can see this happen I always cut the seller slack as it is not their fault.
Like I stated, there are some things that make a package hard to scan or case the scanner to read it wrong. Another poster complained about lazy clerks not wanting to move the scanner around to get a scan. Well most scans you will see are automated there is no one to be lazy except the sender who did not properly place and protect the label.
