Does anyone know if they implemented the USPS increase? I printed a label on Stamps.com for a 4 ounce first class package to New York and was charged $4.13. I remember being charged more in the past if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, effective today seasonal rates ended, and new rates went into effect.

Yes, the new rates went into effect today, as proposed in October. For the past several years, USPS has introduced their annual new rates in late January. eBay made an announcement, outlining the changes, on January 9.

Yes.

OK, however as I mentioned I printed a label through Stamps.com for a 4 ounce first class package to New York and was charged $4.13. Is this correct?

4 ounces to Zone 8 and 9, yes it's correct. $4.13

Can I refer you to your previous post on this topic from October?

Perhaps you may find it helpful to put a reminder on your calendar.
Check each year the first week of January to see what the price changes will be that month and make necessary preparations.
Check each year mid-late June for the July changes.
Check each year mid-Sept for the holiday surcharge that goes into effect the first week of October.
And bookmark the eBay Announcements page:

The announcements page will post the info late in the game, but they do post it and the info will be readily available through USPS and other outlets long before the changes occur.

Yes, if you're shipping from the West Coast. Some rates actually went down because the "holiday surcharge" expired. Last week, the rate to ship 4 ounces to Zone 8 was $4.26.
I provided a link to the official USPS rates document, Notice 123, where you can verify prices. If that is not usable for you, then you can check prices on eBay's shipping calculator. Note that it has options for both retail ("in store") and eBay prices.

Are you certain of this? I looked back on my past labels around a week ago and I see another first class package to New York and I was charged $4.26 for a four ounce package.

Yes, this. That's actually why I linked to the OP's last post - because you provided information at that time that the holiday surcharge and Jan rate change would end/begin back to back, and you provided a price chart for the January rates.
While many First Class rates were increased higher than the surcharge, other rates saw a minimal increase from the base rate and landed below the surcharge.

Some went down and some went up slightly.

OK, just to make sure. Even though I was charged last week $4.26 for a 4 ounce first class shipment to New York. That same four ounce New York package is now $4.13, despite the latest postal increase?

Yes. The new rates are not all increases.

and your 8oz, and 12oz package to NY will also be less than last week, but the 15.99oz one will be more.
