OK, just an interesting observation, no complaint here.
Shipped a package and today it shows it was delivered. But the delivery details say:
Your item was delivered to a parcel locker at XX:YZ am on March 4, 2019 in
Hmmm, address was something like 43 Cherry Lane and google says it is a house not a business.
So I guess one never knows what they'll see after a delivery.
All that really concerns me is that it DOES show as "delivered" on the USPS tracking and eBay order details page.
Was concerned because this package took an around the country tour! i.e. it logged and EXTRA 5,518 miles instead of a direct route! BTW - eBay "estimated" a delivery date of 2-Mar!
So always something interesting and "fun" when it comes to eBay selling!

Not an uncommon thing. Delivery may not be physically located at the address.
Row of cluster boxes located near many houses with a set of "parcel lockers" for the items that don't fit in the generic size box.
Not all addresses have actual to the front door delivery.

You don't have cluster mailboxes with parcel lockers where you live?

Another possibility. May not apply to your situation.
Some places do not have USPS street delivery. When an item comes in that is not addressed to the PO box it still gets delivered. That may be to a "parcel locker" at the post office.
Some office policy is to "use local knowledge" to deliver mail.
Some office policy is to "return to sender" if not addressed correctly.
Some offices have rotating employees that may not know everyone by name/location, and have a Postmaster with the "if you don't know where it goes, don't waste time trying to figure it out" policy. Return it.

I have a regular sized rural mailbox. For packages that don't fit in that mailbox, my carrier and I have the perfect dropoff spot - inside our white (not the green!) pickup truck. When she delivers a larger package, she'll scan it as delivered to parcel locker 🙂

Was that a freight forwarder in Delaware?

I live in a town where there is no mail delivery, everyone has a PO Box. The majority of the boxes would not hold a package of any size. People used to have to stand in line to pick up packages, and the PO worker would have to go and get each package as it's recipient came to the counter. Now they put all the packages in lockers in the lobby and leave the locker keys in the PO boxes. This saves them a ton of time and allows recipients to not have to stand in line. Much improved system.
However, ebay considers those packages as "delivered" when the PO posts online that they are in the lockers. MY PO usually posts this at the end of the day and I get an email from eBay that my package has been delivered at about 11 PM. If it is a return, then by 8 AM the next morning eBay is screaming because I haven't refunded the buyer yet. I find this amusing, sort of because I have to so I don't get mad.
