Delivery estimates

Hi Everyone,  Is there a way to adjust ebays' "Estimated delivery" or the new ' Delivery in 2 to 3 days"  on our listings?  Their estimates are just not realistic.  I have a handful of sales in-transit now that are all technically late.  These estimates make good sellers look bad in the eyes of their buyrers.  We always ship "same day."  Thank You For Any Input.  (J.B.)

When you look at your own listings, you see the delivery estimate for a buyer in your own ZIP Code. If you go to the shipping section of one of your listings and plug in a Zone 8 ZIP Code (such as 90210) the 2-3 days will disappear.

No, there's no way to adjust it.

I'm in full agreement eBay's estimated delivery dates are too short.

@wastingtime101  agreed. they cause unnecessary problems with these "estimates" when they themselves have ZERO control over UPS, USPS or Fedex.

they should just leave that one alone and say nothing - simply state the "type" of shipping offered + the price and that's it. They cannot know exactly when it will be delivered and set expectations that lead to disappointments if there are delays (that are usually NOT the sellers fault since sellers have ZERO control over delivery times once they ship the package.)

I disagree with not showing estimates. Buyer's need an estimate to make an informed purchasing decision, and they need the estimate as it applies to the Money back Guarantee.

I think eBay needs to show more realistic estimates.

I don't think some of these people posting responses here realize that there is a hiccup going on some seller's stores or it being an eBay mistake ongoing thing. Some here don't buy or sell as much on eBay.

I have a seller who shows that 2-3 delivery in green also...which my seller doesn't do.

It was placed by eBay...my seller in New Jersey and me in San Francisco...3 day delivery?...I wish!

I had it for one day and it changed on it's own...I have delivery in 5 business days so for me it was scary.

It's also very misleading since it doesn't show the words "business days'.

Well its been another month and nothing as improved with estimated delivery date range.  The earliest date in the given range for buyer's zip code EVEN FOR USPS Ground Advantage is showing One or Two business day delivery across the country!  Listings that offer Ground Advantage, Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express all show the same earliest delivery date of 1 to 2 business days.

Only the Latest (last day before INR can be raised) delivery date changes based on mail class.  This is really poorly implemented.  The earliest delivery date should move out based on slower classes of parcel shipments.  I currently have 3 or 4 shipments where the buyers have reached out that their Ground Advantage shipments are "late and expected sooner" after 2 business days!  Having to spend a lot of time trying to explain how it "works".  We need eBay to fix this.

The  Estimated delivery  and   2 to 3 days  is all provided by USPS not eBay.
