Delivery address issue (invalid) after the purchase...

I made 3 purchases to send to my sister hotel in DC (we’re from Brazil and I buy from eBay for more than 10 years) and the seller in one of the purchases told me the the address appears as invalid (like in the pic attached)... I changed the address but for him still appears as invalid (like the “old” address).... Can anyone help me with this? I don’t want to cancel the purchase and do it again (just because in Brazil we pay 6,38% fee every time we purchase something from abroad... only because of this I would not like to re-purchase the item)....

Is there anyway to fix this that the seller don’t have to cancel the purchase?

I attached another pic with the address that have issues and a new one, but it seems the seller don’t see the right address (or it don’t change automatically...)

Regards,

Cris

There is a limitation of 40 characters on the name & address line

The seller would have to edit the address label, but when they do so, they get a huge warning from eBay that they aren't covered for seller protection (for an Item Not Received case).  However, unless they change the ZIP Code, they should be able to alter it and still maintain their seller protection despite the warnings.

Unfortunately, eBay/PayPal doesn't stop the buyer from going over the character limit (for automated labels) when entering their information

You need to break that address up so the label platform accepts it

Carolina XXXXX  GUEST (or RES #)

c/o Club Quarters Hotel

839 17th street

etc

Once you pay, you cannot alter the address for the seller.  They only get the information you gave with payment  - not changes afterwards.

I understand the seller's concerns and don't know if you can convince them that they will be covered as the ZIP matches regardless of what the warning states.   You can try, but they can legitimately say no.
