I recently sold an item on ebay to somebody that lives outside of the U.S and when I go to print the label it says devlivery confirmation is not available, pretty self explanatory and its the cheapest option to. eBay gave me this option when I posted the product without giving a warning. But honestly I feel its my fault for not searching well. My question is, is there a way that you can track it, I tried adding insurance but it won't give me the option. The seller doesnt seem like he scams people since he has a high rating. But just to be sure I wonder if there's another way to confirm the delivery.

FedEx or UPS.

Which country is it and how much is the item?
I believe that Priority has delivery confirmation to most countries but it is super expensive. First class int'l is limited as you found out. Note that Priority small flat rate box and Priority flat rate envelope are treated as first class as far as delivery confirmation goes. Here is a list of the countries that have dc with first class.

You could pay insurance through a third party insurance company but most of your recent items sold are not that expensive so it might not be worth it.
Yes Sam9876, I know that 'smart sellers don't buy insurance"

Brazil, and I'm thinking about just shipping to it like that. Its only worth 14 bucks and I don't want to cancel his item. Rather gamble it.

It does say Brazil, but for some reason eBay keeps giving me the message that I won't get a Delivery confirmation email. My guess might be the way the address is written. I tried making one on the usps website and it told me to enter a valid addres mainly cuz of the way he wrote his, since it has the signs on their letter for example "São Paulo" wasnt registering as a valid city even tho thats how you originally write it. It finally accepted till I wrote it normally like "Sao Paulo"

Brazil
Some good stories, some bad stories about Brazil.
Your choice as what to do, but probably the last you will see of your item, and your $$$ without tracking.

Yea, I guess it's a gamble going there, but I mean it does say that Brazil does get confirmation delivery about the item from what I see on the link the other guy posted, but I guess ebay hasnt updated it or something.

The package will probably be stolen in the Brazilian customs department, so don't worry about getting a delivery scan.

I foundthe following on another usps page.
Countries Accepting Electronic USPS Delivery Confirmation International Service (E-USPS DELCON INTL)
[Revise the list to read as follows (deleting the Note about asterisks as well as the asterisks from the entries for Brazil, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Italy, Luxembourg, and Portugal, and adding Austria, Iceland, Mexico, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, and Slovenia in alphabetical order)
They used have asterisks beside a few countries saying that delcon was temporarily stopped. It looks like has now changed so you're probably right and ebay just hasn't updated the info.
Brazil can be fairly slow for delivery, that's the main problem, but if I were you, I would still go ahead with sending it.

Don't do international, so had not kept up on the addition of Brazil to the list.
Still hear of problems of "tie up's" in customs. Seems that when it is stuck the buyer can still get refunded when it sits, and sits with no movement.
About $14 + shipping costs. May be worth the gamble, may not.
