Delivered to wrong address then ghosted

I pre-ordered an item last September to be delivered in March. When it shipped, I learned after a week it was delivered to the wrong address. After getting in contact with the seller, we both tried to get in contact with the person at this address, but got no response. So after I suggested refunding the purchase so I could re-purchase the item to be sent to the correct address, the seller started ghosting me.

My question then is there anything I can do to get this resolved with the seller. The purchase was months ago so eBay doesn't have the option to start a claim. Is there an email address I can contact to explain my situation? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am unsure what you expect the seller to do

this is a problem of your making it woud appear

if the seller sent the item to the shipping address with payment then there is not much you can do

this was an illegal pre sale and you participated in it with a bad address

you should  the MBG adnd the pre sale rules

The address I provided for the order was actually my correct address, the seller just sent it to a completely different one by mistake. The owner was also a buyer of theirs that was just mistakenly sent there. Not sure if that helps.

@peacock123456

If you paid with a credit card, you might try filing an INR with them.

Other then that, it's to late for any help from Ebay or Pay Pal.

With preorders, the seller has to be able to ship it within 30 days.

Have a great day.

So the person who received this due to an error on the seller's part was coincidentally actually a buyer of theirs? H-m-m.

The seller owes you a refund morally, but apparently does not see it that way.
