Delivered but not delivered

Hello! I recently bought an item on ebay and it appears as delivered but it never arrived. What could I do to get my money back?

You need to contact the carrier and find out where it was delivered.

Find out if the package was addressed to you?

Come back and let us know what you find out.

You can open an Item Not Received case, but if tracking shows it was delivered, they would close the case.

Was it sent through USPS (Mail)?

There have been some issues with items scanned at the sorting facility being marked as delivered early.

May still be in transit.

I think you got the answer here. 

Also I would like to add more to this. 

1. You can contact the seller.

2. If you got the tracking number from the seller you can browse for other tracking websites and see details of your order.

3. You can contact the eBay customer service if needed.

yes, same zip code.     it says "Delivered, Left with individual"

CALL YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE.  Ask them to find out exactly where the package was left.  They often have GPS data to tell you EXACTLY where it was left.  They may retrieve it and re-deliver.

You can also file a loss/theft report for missing packages on the USPS website and they will get with your local post office to get this resolved.

You won't get your money back from the buyer, but ebay MAY fund the refund, but I would save those courtesy refunds if you can...i.e., find this package.

An increasing number of my orders result in a false notice of delivery. This occurs only with orders sent via a shipper other than USPS. In most cases, that shipper is “DHL eCommerce” who apparently scan a package as delivered when in fact they have merely transferred the package to USPS. My last order, said to have been delivered on May 20, did not actually arrive until May 24. I just minutes ago received two more “Order Delivered” emails from eBay but nothing has yet actually arrived. Correction of this annoying discrepancy by eBay would be very much appreciated.
