Delayed Shipping

So on Sept. 6 I bought an item from a Chinese seller that was scheduled to arrive on the 21st of October, however the item hasn’t shown any movement since Sept. 8th and it is now October 30th. I still want the item but don’t know how much longer I should wait. Any recommendations?

I agree with @simba6. It's time to open an Item Not Received claim, if the Estimated Delivery Date was October 21.

Could be in one of the cargo containers that fell overboard in that storm and sank in the bay?  With no movement is so long, it looks grim.

If the latest delivery date is Oct 21 you have 30 days from that date to open a not received case. For deliveries from the US I would wait 1 week.  For International deliveries I would wait 2 weeks. If the seller offers to reship the item do not accept that as a solution. Your buyer protection will expire while you wait. Insist on a refund. Then you can rebuy it and have fresh buyer protection.  Hopefully find a better seller that ships using a method that's faster than 6 weeks

The seller would have to provide tracking number showing it was delivered. Without that, they would have to give you a full refund or eBay would do it for them and ding their account.
