Customize Packing List with Logo

I know how to print packing list but my logo used to be on it and not its not there and I can't seem to be able to add it.  Was this option removed?  Or where/how am I able to add my logo so that it is on my packing list, not the store or invoice but my packing list.  When I try to edit it asks me for my logo url??? I'm not understanding why I can't just upload my logo image.  Again, please note this is for the packing list and not the store or invoice or any marketing communication.

Thanks

Still works for me. You can change or add a logo using the classic label flow ("edit packing slip" link), and that logo choice carries over to the new label flow (in the new label flow it pulls up the same classic packing slip page - don't know if that is the case for everyone)

You may be having a problem with the logo link itself if that logo image is in the cloud somewhere , and the image is not accessible (new restrictions by cloud providers that make it not directly accessible, deleted, etc)

If you paste the logo link in the browser bar in a new browser tab, does it load? If not, you need to nail that down -if it won't load standalone then eBay can't find it either). I don't know if the flow now requires links to be HTTPS and didn't in the past, but if so that could also be the issue if your link is HTTP.

Note that you can use a local image file stored on your hard drive using a URL syntax of the form:
file:///D:\_info_to_be_filed\_Downloads\images\smilies\smiley_75_105x53.jpg
but may have to fiddle with some browser and/or browser addon internal settings (like the NoScript noscript.allowLocalLinks preference in Firefox if you use NoScript and have that setting set to false instead of true) to get it to work.

Addendum:

If you use the local file hosting method mentioned above, and it is working (correct link to image, acceptable image format and size, etc), but something changes in the future such as file being renamed, moved, deleted, etc, the packing slip page may hang after mostly loading, presumably repeatedly looking for the image file, but with no timeout on failing to locate it. It place's a "this is the seller' s logo" alt text entry in the logo location on the packing slip in the logo location when that occurs.

That indicates that the logo image isn't uploaded to eBay and stored there similar to the way listing images are. Every time the packing slip page loads, (I assume) it checks if there is a packing slip logo image specified in the packing list settings, and goes and looks for it if there is a link (online or local) there. If there is no link, it finishes loading the page. If there is a link, it tries forever to load the image.

(I suspect the same thing would happen using an online image, but testing failed I think because I couldn't disable Cloudflare caching - even when I removed the image file from the filehost the cached copy kept loading in the packing slip, and even standalone in 4 other browsers accessing the image directly - and didn't have time to try another host to verify the hanging theory)

At least that is what happens with my setup using Firefox 3.6.24, and I wouldn't expect any really different behavior from other browsers (I think it's poor error handling in the eBay script that deals with inserting the logo image but didn't try to check if that is the case)

Just a general FYI for OP and for others who might see a packing slip hang during loading. If it does, think about whether you were using a packing slip logo, and if so take a look at the link and if the image file is still accessible.

Customize Packing List with Logo

Honestly, its difficult to follow what you are saying, its a bit too technical for me.  I did load my logo on my PC and put that url in the space where it says company image logo url but that doesn't work either.  Is there a simple, (easy to understand for non-technical people) to simply upload the image to the packing slip?  My logo is in my store, I don't understand why it cant be shown or my packing slip or have a simple upload of the image to the slip? Can someone please provide a way to do this that is easy and simple to do?  Thanks

Here is your store logo:

$_7

You can use the eBay URL to that logo for the packing slip:
 https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTEyMlgxNjAw/z/-r8AAOSwnHZYZoMX/$_7.JPG

If you need to re-obtain the URL to your store logo (if the URL changes and/or your change the store logo), right click on the store logo on your store page, choose "view image info", copy the URL from the dialog, and insert it in the packing slip edit dialog again)

When a logo image file is on the PC it is a local file URL as I described above, and you may have to jump through hoops as I described.

A local file URL has to be of the form:

file:///D:\_info_to_be_filed\_Downloads\images\smilies\smiley_75_105x53.jpg

and browser security constraints and setting may block access to local files in some situations.

ebay_edit_packing_slip_logo_redact.gif

You have to add the file:/// in front of the fully specified file name, and can use back \ or forward / in the path name or the file:\\\ part.

When you enter a proper file URL in there and click the "continue and view changes" button the logo should immediately appear on the packing slip. If  it doesn't then there is an error in the URL you entered or it might be browser security settings blocking access.

(if you paste the file URL in the browser address bar and it loads then it should work for the packing slip. If it doesn't, does not necessarily mean the URL is wrong - again browser security)

Alternatively, you upload the image somewhere on the web to an image host, and use a regular URL like

https://www.myfreeimagehost.com/berserkerplanet/images1/smiley_75_105x53.jpg

Hope that makes sense.

(if not can someone else jump in and translate/re-interpret? @eburtonlab ?)

Easiest way I found is the following:

Step 1:  Open your eBay Store in your browser.

Step 2: Right Click on your Store Logo and select "Copy Image Address".

Step 3:  Return to the Edit Packing Slip page and paste the image address.
