Hello all! I recently had a terrible experience with a seller who would not respond to any messages, and shipped me a completely defective item, contradicting his description of “open box”. I started a refund, and today I received a partial refund of $75.27. This was, in my eyes, unacceptable since I had shipped him the item back. He claimed it was because I had not included anything in the box, but everything was CLEARLY THERE. I decided to escalate this **bleep** to eBay, who sided with me in a weird fashion that I’ve never seen before; they issued me a partial refund.
Now, they said I have to check my paypal account. I did not pay with PayPal. Would the money go to the bank account/debit card I used to purchase the item?

If you used a debit card, the refund will go back to that account.
Refunds to debit/credit cards could take a few weeks or longer to show up.

Hi @neromisis2017 please look at your debit card statement. Can you tell us to whom your statement says your original payment went to?
