I had a sale that was listed as shipping UPS Ground. Before shipping the item, I realized that it would probably ship for less money if I used a USPS Regional A box.
The ebay shipping was defaulting to UPS, thus not providing an ebay shipping option for USPS.
I could not find the Regional A option in paypal or through my online USPS account.
I realize that I should have known the item would fit in a Regional A box before listing the item.
My question is: Where do I find the Regional A option to ship if the default for that listing was set to UPS Ground?

I can understand your point.
If USPS Priority gets the delivery there a day or two sooner what would the buyer prefer?
Before you change carriers, you should check with the buyer. Some have very strong preferences about carriers. And some must use a different address, such as those who must use a PO Box for USPS deliveries.
Those are very good points. I had not thought about the PO Box problem.
You should definitely clear it with your buyer first. Where I lived before I moved to this house would have been a problem with your thinking ... all my USPS mail went to my PO Box in another county (so the zip code was not the same as my physical address) and the PO did not even recognize my physical address as a valid address for mail delivery as no one had lived at that location before me. If I had purchased your item thinking it was going UPS and then you changed to USPS you would have gotten the package back with a notice of no such address.
This is why I always prefer listings to actually show the shipping method and not just "Expedited", "Standard" or "Economy" with no corresponding actual carrier.

Time is not the issue.
I'm sure that's true Most of the time. I have had buyer complaints about shipping times though I state how long my selected USPS shipping method can take to ship, via USPS's website. Can't win them all, I suppose (or there are people out there that do not understand how mail works).

Only the buyer can answer that question. I agree with Sam on this one. (Geez! I hope the world don't end because of that.)

I changed this one from UPS Ground to USPS Priority. USPS Click-N Ship was used. I manually entered the tracking into ebay.
Shipped on the 24th and the package arrived on the 26th.
Ebay tracking does not show anything as far as movement.
I did notice that at the very bottom of the Order Info, it still thinks UPS ground is the carrier.
What is up with this? I believe have changed carriers before without a hitch.
