Continually raising USPS rate RANT

I do not know how anyone else feels, but I am getting fed up with USPS continually raising rates....when one takes the time to check your buyers tracking and see that their item(s) are being sent on the scenic routes all over the country...tell me how it makes sense that when shipping and item to someone in the same state does it go through to two other states to come back the the original state destination!   They way they are wasting fuel and time is why the rates keep going up...it is not the price of fuel as it goes down.....do not get me wrong for years I have had little to no problems, especially compared to fedex UPS or ebay envelopes(garbage). I get messages all the time from buyers want to know why their items are Late(ebay in accurate delivery date system) or why it is going all over the country?  Late last year I had a customer message me about his order and to check the tracking, that I won't believe it...he was right I did not believe it as it went back and forth between the same 2 USPS postal depots 23x's  yes 23x's....The ebay envelopes system got so bad with issues from one end to the other that I discontinued them...good idea..poorly planned, waste of time and money...ran a test and sent one buyers order in the ebay envelope label system and using the same identical correct size etc envelope with just a postage stamp on it...the snail mail stamped one made it, the ebay envelope is still MIA!

Well, to be fair… they ARE improving their service right along with those rate increases… oh, wait…

It's all part of the processing.  I can send someone a package in my city and the packages gets sent 40 miles north for processing. Fuel only gets wasted if it's a few packages. The USPS processes many.

The USPS isn't perfect. There is always issues just as for other carriers. It just varies. Most shipments go smoothly.
