Ok, I know this has been brought up before but I have yet to find a concrete solution. Maybe it's hiding right in plain sight?! Anyway, does anyone know how to set combined shipping costs automatically for the buyers in checkout cart, to avoid sending/requesting a invoice for combined purchases?
I seem to be sending partial refunds to sellers who just pay outright and don't request a invoice etc...Are they simply not looking for the "request invoice" button?! It seems like Ebay really botched that up for us sellers and the buyers get screwed as well...Has to be a better way...It really wastes time and doesn't look very professional on the seller's part...
Thanks in advance for any solutions or work arounds.

I don't even think it's possible unless every item you sell is similar size and weight (such as Vinyl Records, DVD's, or little green marbles that weight 2 ounces each, and even then the best you could do is estimate it.
The "Each Additional" is from the same listing.....so that's no help
If it annoys you enough, Free shipping (with you building the cost into the sale price) is the obvious way....

First make sure that you allow combined payments and shipping so that the buyer can put their items in the cart and pay at once or click on request total. You can do that on your shipping preferences page.
You can also set up flat rate or calculated shipping rules on that page. Once you do that make sure that you associate your listings with those appropriate rule. You can do that on the listing page.

Seeing you mostly sell CD's you should have no problem setting up shipping rules as already posted to automatically combine shipping across different listings.
