Hey there,
we allow our customers to buy multiple items in one order to reduce handling time on our side and reduce shipping costs for the customer.
When a customer now buys two items in an order and decides to return one of the items after a week it seems like eBay requests us to refund the item value + the shipping fee. Is that the expected behaviour / can someone confirm this?
Best,
Daniel

I am having the same issue! I sent a large order and they're returning part of it. How exactly do I process this? It's going to cost me more to issue the refunds in shipping than it did to ship the items to begin with...

It depends on why the buyer wants to return the item. If you have 30 day returns, you refund regardless of the reason. If you have No Returns, you can refuse the return if the buyer states a buyer's remorse reason: didn't like it, changed mind, doesn't fit, found it cheaper elsewhere. If you decide to accept the return in this case, the buyer pays the return shipping.
