Combined Shipping

so my situation is, a few days ago another seller on here helped me with my combined shipping and confirmed it worked. the next day an order came in also confirming that it was working correctly. however yesterday im getting a customer whos saying its not allowing him to combine the items in his cart on my store, and hes very adamant that its a problem on my end.

My main question is, could a seller once again check my store to see if the combined shipping option is working for them?

@appalachianvariety  Please share the item numbers of the items that your buyer can't combine shipping on and I can take a look again.

Im not 100 percent sure but i believe the buyer isnt bothering to message me back, so im not exactly sure of what items he had in his cart.

but i know it was atleast 10 plus items so theres a chance one of those items didnt get the updated policy set to it? not sure

could you try a random cart of around 15 dvd's to see if it combines the shipping? 

if it works then im convinced its a problem on their end.

Also i got a order a couple hours ago that used combined shipping like normal so that also leans me to think that even more so.

Combining shipping is one thing, discounting the shipping charge is another... which is not happening with your items as far as I can tell. 4 DVDs and 1 PC game is quoting me the full shipping charge of $25.88. I can't tell if they're actually combined or not, which is not surprising because the combination is a mix of calculated and flat rate shipping via a mix of Media Mail and Ground Advantage. I don't think eBay checkout is flexible enough to automate that, although you might want to review your combined shipping rules to see if there's something you've overlooked.

Well yes the PC game cant be media mail, try only media mail items and see if it works

Also there shouldnt be any flat rate shipping anywhere on my store.

i need to check the combined shipping with the combined discount with items of the same shipping.

so like only media mail or only envelope or only ground advantage.

ive got over 2k listed now so my whole business model is for someone to see an item they like, then see that i have hundreds of items just like it and start a cart.

i need it to be able to discount their shipping cost if they get several items of the same type, which worked earlier today and in the past. but then randomly i get told by customers its not letting them sometimes, which of course is annoying.

if your able to try only media mail or only envelope shipping and see if it works like it did yesterday is what im really needing to see. dont try mixing a ground advantage item with media mail because they arent the same and cant be discounted, only charged separately.

but it just keeps confusing me because ill then get an order for 20 something dvd's and itll work just fine with no issues. maybe some customers were mixing shipping services and not knowing, that would make more sense.

update. just got an order for two media mail items and it combined and discounted the shipping just fine like it should, im most certainly thinking it was a problem on the customers end.

There have been past reports of problems with multiple item purchases and combined shipping on one of the mobile apps. As is common, posters do not identify which of the apps is the source of their problem.

I did add 5 items that ship media mail  to my cart and they do show a reduced rate.

Okay good thats what i was needing to know, and yes i know you cant combine GA im not sure why i said that in the earlier post.
