Changes to handling return requests that appear abandoned...................LOL

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!

Starting April 1, 2020, we will no longer close returns early at the request of a seller when the buyer has not shipped the item back. Instead, we will wait to ensure buyers have sufficient time to provide proof items they requested to return were shipped back. If we do not receive proof of shipment from your buyers while the return requests are active, we will protect you by removing any negative or neutral feedback left on that transaction.

SO NOW THE BUYER HAS 21 BUSINESS DAYS TO SEND BACK THE ITEM!

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

SO NOW MY MONEY IS IN LIMBO FOR 21 BUSINESS DAYS AND WHEN IT TIMES OUT THEN I GET MY FUNDS BACK.

IM SORRY 6 BUSINESS DAYS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH.

One would think that in regards to the whole COVID-19 thing, 14 days (INCLUDING non-business days) would be more than enough time to pack it up and AT LEAST get the tracking uploaded...

...geez...21 BUSINESS DAYS...that's a whole month...that's just nuts...

...AND I'M A BUYER AND I AM SAYING THIS!!!

They have 180 days with PP , so some extra time from eBay is the present situation is not a big game changer.

Only 21 business days?  I would have guessed a "lifetime" to return an item would have been next. ðŸ˜±

Its not that, 95% of the returns opened are then closed by me because the buyer stops responding. So now I have to wait a month to close these returns out.

Headache after headache with each "seller update"

Doesn't it say in the policy update that you can't even "wait a month to close these returns out" anymore, because eBay will close it themselves?
