Change Shipping Method after printing Label, how do I eliminate NOT SHIPPED message

I posted a small item and the shipping method options did not offer a USPS First Class Letter so I selected USPS First Class Package. I printed the shipping label and then confirmed that I really could mail it in an envelope so I did. I canceled the First Class Package label. I am now getting a NOT SHIPPED message. How do I eliminate the message?

You can mark the package as being shipped.
