Catch 22 - Marked as paid, shows up to ship, won't let me ship

I have an long time, repeat old school customer who stills pays with money order (remember those?)

After receipt of a MO from him today I marked seven items as paid and the showed up in the list of items to be shipped.  When I click to buy the shipping label I get this message.  

If I go the items (all behave the same way), the option to "Mark as Paid' now says 'UnMark as piad".  The system acknowledges the items as paid, but the shipping form does not.

Any great ideas?

Well it is not that eBay won't let you ship, they are stating that you should not ship BECAUSE eBay does NOT see it as paid. You know it is paid. As long as you marked it PAID you should be able to go ahead and print the shipping label.  If eBay doesn't open the print screen you can use Paypal, Pirateship, stamps.com - probably others. Then mark it as shipped and enter the tracking number.

I love those old school buyers. I had a few of them too. But it's been a long time. I'm thinking that they are no longer around.
