Can't return or protest an order that doesn't show up in Purchase History

Ebay has ripped me off.  I oredered a product, and it was shipped and delivered, but the merchandise is badly flawed and clearly defective.  The order does not show up in my purchase history, so I can't initiate any kind of return or contact Customer Service about it.

I have valid order number, but after literally hours of looking, can't find anyplace to look up my order using that number, and there appears to be no actual customer support at all at Ebay.

How long ago did you purchase it?. First go to the resolution center, link at bottom right of page. File an item not received case. It will display all items that you can file on. If it's been longer than 30 days since you received it, that won't work.   Then file with the payment service you used. If you paid by credit card, contact your card company.  What is the item number?
