I've completed the return shipping process and after physically shipping the product I tried to update the status by marking it as shipped. It ask for the tracking number so I enter the one provided and I get this error message: "The tracking number you have provided already exists in our system. Please use a valid tracking number for this return"
It won't allow me to mark the item shipped because of this?

I had 2 returns not too long ago, where I paid for the preprinted return labels. I took both packages to the post office where I asked the clerk to scan both packages. I did not try to input the tracking number.s Both returns show SHIPPED when I later looked.

If the seller provided a return label from Ebay, the tracking number is already included in the return.
When you turn the package in and USPS scans it, the return will update showing the item has been shipped back.
