I'm really annoyed with the new shipping label purchase layout because it doesn't have a "shipping date" option like the classic one does. And even then it doesn't print according to the seller's timezone. If it's 2am where I am and I buy a label, it still shows up with yesterday's date. My post office won't take packages unless they have the exact mailing date. I've got $30 tied up on voided labels because of this. You'd think that developers for a large company like this would have thought about this being a potential issue by now.

Are you printing through ebay? Luckily I have not had this issue and thus can't advise except to call ebay. (If you are using their print label option.) Sounds like an urgent matter if you can't mail your packages.

Are you doing one by one labels or bulk?
I have just printed a single and attached a screen shot, mine has the date drop down if I want to print now for today or tomorrow and so on it is there for me .
Are you seeing something else?

Just a single label. And I'm seeing other things. The layout you screenshotted is the classic version, and I can't access that one. I'll screen cap the layout I keep getting redirected to.

The "show more" menu only has more package size options. No mailing date in sight. When you click "classic shipping label" I get an error page instead. This is frustrating! I gave up and shipped at the post office, but I would really like the convenience of weighing and shipping at home to save a dollar or two.

That does not look like any print screen I have ever seen on eBay.

I never saw that page before either.
As Sam posted for now you can always just log into Paypal & print the label from there .
the option is just below the Payment received as shown.

Can you see post #5 please & advise is this a test of a new form of label print out page?
If so how does one change a date ?
I never saw this layout before & OP can't pick dates to print the label.

Hi @labs118, we are currently testing a new label printing page for new and occasional sellers. The option to revert to the classic view is available in the upper right hand corner of the page, and this would allow for more options to be selected. I have confirmed that this link is not currently working for the OP and will get this submitted to the appropriate teams!

Hi @labs118, the option to change the shipping date is excluded from this simplified version of the label printing page. We found there were dozens of options that were infrequently used by new or occasional sellers and in an effort to simply the selling process we have created a condensed label printing page. All of these options are still available in the classic view which should be accessible using the option in the upper right hand corner.

What were the indications that a simpler form was needed or would benefit newbies/occasional users in any way? In all my years on the boards, I have never seen anybody who was confused by these extra options (Dozens, really?)

Ok so we now know it is a new simply format that none of us knew about that they rolled out.
Trinton says you should now be able to access/ switch to the classic view .
Hope it works now for you. And if not come back here to let Trinton know and at least try to use Paypal to get online shipping rates.

There have been a few brief discussions about the new format, and I have personally encountered it on another ID. Like the "Quick listing form, it basically omits many options and makes lots of assumptions. Also missing from it is the option to change the "Shipping from" ZIP Code. I don't see how omitting these little options makes like easier for newbies; if you don't need them, you just leave them set to the default.
