I just received a negative feedback to a buyer I bent over backwards for. The item was shipped next day. The tracking shows that. Then there is a delay in Philadelphia which I filed a search notice through the usps. He purchased the item Dec 28th and it was delivered Tuesday January 19th. I have been very polite with him through all of this. Will eBay remove the negative feedback? I don’t know what the current situation is with eBay right now. Thanks

It depends. They will only remove it if it breaks their rules on feedback.

If it's just "package arrived a month late and I'm not happy" then they will not remove it. Ebay allows buyers to rate their "experience" with the purchase, not just what you did.

Your best bet is to craft a polite request to the buyer for feedback revision using the feedback revision request form. I've had some luck with this. Maybe tell them you're terribly sorry USPS delayed their package, but you shipped fast and tried to locate the package in-transit, which you don't have to do.

If this fails, you can reply to the feedback. Say something like "Sorry to hear. USPS delayed this package due to COVID". I don't think prospective buyers would tend to hold that against you, and it's happening to everyone.

None of your 4 unhappy buyers complained about the time it took to get their packages. Ebay will not remove the feedback.

Even if the feedback he wrote had nothing to do with delay. This was his feedback that had nothing to do about package being late.

I’ve tried that and she even promised me she would remove it with the 10 dollars refund. Never got reversed. Called eBay. They didn’t want to hear it.
