When it comes to the shipping service you choose in your listing, can use still choose a different shipper when printing your label? For instance, if I select Priority mail shipping when creating the ad, can I still choose Fedex when it comes time to print the label and vice versa? Often times I end up just choosing standard 1-5 day option because I never know what option will end up costing less especially if insurance is needed and like to leave my options open. Will a buyer be able to complain and undo a deal simply because I did something like listing as Fedex but then using USPS? Is there either shipper option you choose that Ebay's system will not allow you to change and use when printing the label or is using whichever shipper always something you choose when printing labels despite what you listed in the ad?

Re: Can I use different shipper option despite what I listed in ad?
Can you? Sure.
Should you? Absolutely not.
Whether you agree with their reasons or not, some people abhor one particular carrier or prefer one particular carrier. If they bought from you because you listed "A" and you used "B" you might get nasty feedback.
I had one buyer who told me that everything HAD to ship via FedEx because they delivered while the post office did not. Apparently they live in a small sparsely populated town where the PO does not deliver and you must go into town to pick up the mail.
Another buyer said NEVER use FedEx because their experience with them was unsatisfactory.
Cross those 2 up and it's 2 negative feed backs.

people are sort of picky about shipping. If you charge for USPS priority and then ship 1st class.....then people will feel they got shorted, even with free shipping people want it how you say its going to come.I use only 1st class shipping.I do no know anything about classes of shipping with ups or fedex but someone does and would still complain.
I do not use the shipping calculator, some members have a real problem with it even when just sticking with USPS.I charge a flat fee of $5 for 1st class
