Can DHL ship to PO Box?

Bought from an international seller that uses DHL and had the item sent to my PO Box. I looked more into DHL and found that they apparently do not deliver to USPS PO Boxes. Would the seller be prevented from shipping it by DHL or would there be a way around it?

USPS can accept deliveries from other carriers like UPS & Fedex...I would think DHL could deliver as well BUT...

...you would need to go to your PO and ask for a form for you to fill out allowing USPS to accept deliveries from these other carriers on your behalf.  I do get deliveries from other carriers to my PO Box but I had to fill that form out to allow this service.

Hipe this helps.

Re: Can DHL ship to PO Box?

The service that enables you to get FedEx etc. packages at your PO Box is called "Street addressing":

Re: Can DHL ship to PO Box?

DHL has very limited delivery inside of the US. Your package most likly will be handed off to USPS for delivery same as FedEx SmartPost or UPS SurePost only earlier in the delivery process.

Best way to handle this is to have them address it to the street address of the Post Office where you have your PO Box, you can then on the second address line add Box # ____.

@hurryagain

I had several international packages to my PO box before under "registered airmail" but I never had to fill out a form beforehand to get my packages. I do think they hand off the packages to USPS though so I didn't have to. Guess the best way is to call my local usps and check on their policies for DHL?

I gave the seller my PO box without street addressing it and I wasn't blocked from buying when I put it down. Are any of you familiar with how DHL will respond to a PO Box when printing a shipping label addressed to one?
