COMBINING SHIPMENTS

I have a customer who bought 3 books. She paid postage listed for each book. I can of course combine them in one package for much less. Usually eBay combines items purchased by the same buyer. I don't know why they didn't do it for this.  How can I get all 3 changed to one shipping cost?

COMBINING SHIPMENTS

If the buyer has already paid you would have to refund them the difference in shipping costs through the paypal transaction.  If you want the fvf credited for that amount you would have to phone eBay.

Ebay will combine the shipping based on your combined shipping discounts if the buyers uses a cart.  If they did use the cart and there was no discount, there could be a few different reasons why there wasn't. Are you combined shipping discounts set up for flat rate or calculated?  It looks as if you are using flat rates but I don't see a combined discount on the listings that I checked.....if there is one set up you might want to double check it.  If you are using calculated shipping, it might not work properly if the items are using different shipping methods or if the combined weight goes over the maximum for that shipping service....I'm just guessing  though.

select ship all ( I am going from memory), when the page loads for all 3 packages ebay will tell you the orders can be combined. Select the option that says to combine them. It will reload with them in one line. Then enter in the package details

You will have to go into paypal and issue a partial refund for the combined shipping discount if you plan to refund it.

Cheers
