Where do sellers get the buyers shipping info? I've had sellers ship my merchandise to other address?

The buyer provides the shipping address when they check out.

Dishonest sellers do not ship the item but show tracking number of item sent to same zip code as buyer. This results in INR case being closed without a refund to buyer as tracking shows item delivered.

Obtain a written confirmation from postal service providers that tracking number of package was not delivered to your address and then appeal the case and even better if you get this evidence first and then open an INR case and upload this letter as evidence.

Sellers are required to send item to that address only and if seller ships to different address than advised by buyer then that is a violation of eBay's policy.

You should always make sure your address looks right when checking out. In the mean time make sure all of your addresses are correct in ebay Account Settings. Also you can click on the order details of your purchased items to make sure everything was correct on previous orders.

Buyers provide the address for shipment. Yes, you could have the item sent to any address you give, providing the seller ships to that area.

the  seller will get your address from one of the five that are registered with ebay

yes there are 5 of them you can have and if you have an old address it needs to be replaced

old addresses that are forgotten about for a long time are big problems when  they are still listed with ebay

it has more to do with shipping than you may realize.....especially return addresses  that are not primary addresses
