I had a buyer initiated a return for what he said was a defective item on an item that was listed as "no returns". This is most likely user error so I chose to contact the buyer to help him with the setup of the items. He hasn't responded yet.. If he doesn't respond within the 4 day period I have to choose
"Accept the return
You pay for shipping and can send our return label or your own. Wait to get the item back before you refund the buyer. "
or ebay will refund and I will not get my items back correct?

That's pretty much it, yes. However, you won't be billed for the label if it's not used, and if he doesn't send it back, you will not have to refund, so agree to the return. He may have worked out the problem anyway.

Thank you. Do you know if the buyer has a time limit on returning the item before the case is closed. I believe my money is tied up until then.

I think he has five days from receipt of return label within which to get the package in the mail back to you. If he doesn't, you should be able to get the dispute closed out in your favor and free up the funds.
